Volunteer Project – Treat Farm with Christian Youth Brigade Date: Saturday, May 4th 9:30 – 4 :00 The youth group will be doing field clearing, apple pruning, painting, and repair work on the machine shed.

The Glen Arbor Art Association offers a rich and varied array of art classes held at the historic Thoreson Farm in Port Oneida.
AUGUST
Port Oneida Run – 5k Barn to Barn Trail Run/Walk
Saturday, August 3rd 8:30 Kids Schoolhouse Dash; 9 am 5K Run. Run in one of the most beautiful places in Michigan and raise money for historic preservation in the National Park.
PHSB Chicken BBQ
Friday, August 9 3:00 – 5:30 pm At Charles Olsen Farm – a fundraiser for the Port Oneida Fair sponsored by Preserve Historic Sleeping Bear
Port Oneida Rural and Cultural Fair
Friday and Saturday, August 9-10 (Always the 2nd F & S of August)
10:00 am – 4:00 pm History comes to life at six historic farmsteads in Port Oneida.

Volunteer Preservation Project – North Manitou Island
August 16-25 Continued restoration of the Katie Shepard Hotel and other projects. Ferry and housing on the island provided.
