Treat Farm Project
The Treat Farm is a beautiful farm which PHSB has been repairing for the past four years. Last year we had the house scraped, primed and painted.
Project #1
Date: Saturday, May 4th Christian Youth Brigade – no other volunteers needed
Project Description: Paint the shed; reinforce machine shed rafters and do field clearing and orchard pruning
Project #2
Date: Independent project - contact us to coordinate
Project Description: Paint the farmhouse window trim
Funders/Partners:
Volunteers Needed: 3 skilled carpenters; 7 general volunteers.
Supplies/Equipment Needed:
Directions: Take M-22 to Stormer road just south of Empire. Turn west. The farm is in recommended “Wilderness” so there will be only a few vehicles allowed down the two-track. Meet at the gate and we will share rides.
What to Bring: Must wear long pants and hard soled shoes; Bring your lunch. We provide gloves and some tools. If you are a skilled carpenter, please bring your hammer and some electrical tools.
