Awesome Autumn! Many people are stopping by the farm to photograph the newly painted red barn! We were delighted to find local photographer Ken Scott here two days after painting was complete! We’ve finished some other projects here in October also. Check out our current projects page. Last weekend the Leelanau Outdoor Center’s Women’s Harvest Weekend took our horse and wagon tour in Port Oneida with Ranger Bill on a perfect fall day.

CURRENT PROJECTS

We’re continuing to complete projects this fall! Check out the newly scraped and painted yellow Eckerdt farm in Port Oneida or the red barn at Olsen farm. Our project team also stabilized the Kraitz log cabin – the oldest park structure on the mainland. And the Olsen house exhibit is shaping up with workers fine-tuning old door frames. Thank to our members and donors who make all this happen with their support!
